On June 1st 2025 Audi adjusted their entire parts catalog pricing due to the new import tariffs. Our cost to obtain the OEM parts for this kit went up by over10%. We anticipate more major price adjustments throughout the year!

The cost to obtain the OEM parts for this conversion has gone up over $3,000 in the 2 years we have been buying them. We have yet to see a price decrease on a single part in that timeframe. There is no cheaper time to do the conversion than "right now" as prices are always rising unfortunately.  

This kit includes the needed parts to convert the 1st generation Audi R8 from R-Tronic to a gated 6 speed manual.

Our kit uses approximately 95% genuine OEM Audi parts making this conversion as close to factory looking and feeling as possible! The majority of the other non OEM parts are made in the USA here at RKX.

To do this conversion a good understanding of general car repair is needed. The conversion comes with an overview of the conversion process and detailed instructions on aspects that are specific to the conversion. For many of the general disassembly / reassembly procedures you will need to consult the factory service manual (included). No custom fabrication skills are needed to perform this conversion.
